There are three (x3) ways to become an ITDA Course Director.

1.Attend a Course Director Program

2.Be Invited by ITDA HQ to Attend a CD Program

3.Crossover from an equal level from another agency and be assessed on a working CD Program. (As a CD Designate) See ITDA Crossover Page

Any Agency Current Course Director may apply to crossover and Join us. Assessment may be required. Depending on experience.

Trainer Upgrades

Experienced Trainers with any agency may crossover with a view to upgrading to Course Director level is CD Designate.

How can I become an ITDA Course Director?

Prerequisites for Qualification to Attend an ITDA Course Director Training Program: Instructor Trainer or Staff Instructor with a minimum of 2 years experience. 21 years old and a certified Instructor for 3-5 or more years Minimum of 300+ Dives Specialist Instructor Trainer in at least 5 areas.

Must have completed / Assisted with at least 2 Instructor programs or IDC's or equal any agency...

Crossovers are invited from any agency or equal at IDC Staff Instructor Level (2 IDC's Minimum) or any Industry Instructor Trainer level who has worked with a minimum of 2 Instructor training courses (Any agency)...

By Invitation from HQ

Four (x4) times a year, "ITDA Group HQ" will issue invitations to our most experienced Instructors to attend a regional ITP/CD for Trainer or Course Director Upgrade programs, these programs will be discounted by up to 40% with an Invitation...

Cost of CD/ITP Course Program 2022/23

The CD/ITP Starts 3 days before an ITP (7 Days) and continues for 2 days after and is therefore a minimum total time of 12 Days, so a two week (14 Day) time period is ideal / recommended.

To allow for travelling and acclimatization etc. From 2021 we have introduced a new CD Assessor Program as a workshop format to be conducted at HQ. In Malaga, Spain. or can be added to an ITP and can be completed in one 3-4 Day program or two programs as part one(1) three days (3) and a part two(2) three days (3)...

The program maybe split over a three (3) month period or up to a maximum of six(6) months. For parts 1 and 2. This gives the option not to be disruptive to your everyday business.Costs may vary from Region to region but HQ prices are at just €5,999 euros (Normal Price €7,999) for the European CD/ITP.

Price includes: All Training and Certification Materials / Registration with ITDA - International HQ. Whole CD/ITP. 12 Days, or CD Workshop program in one or two parts, at just €3.599 (Not Including Course Director Certification which is €499 includes: Diploma in Diving Education from ITDA Academy)
